Pandav Falls & the Majhgawan Diamond Mines
A 30-metre waterfall tumbling into a heart-shaped natural pool, plus a working diamond mine — an easy half-day add-on from Madla gate.
Pandav Falls
Local legend links the fall to the Pandava brothers, and the nearby rock-cut caves match that story. In the right season the water spreads into a wide, shallow sheet before dropping into the plunge pool below the cliffs — one of central India’s most photogenic waterfalls, far quieter than its more famous cousins.
- ~30-metre drop into a heart-shaped pool.
- Best flow during and just after the monsoon.
- Combine with caves, river picnic and the diamond mine for a full half-day.
Majhgawan Diamond Mine
Just off the same loop, Majhgawan is India’s only major diamond mine. Surface tours and local viewing points are arranged based on current access rules — we confirm what is open before we book.
